Debbie Glicken
April 14th 1962 - April 21st.2006
On April 14, 1962, God gave the miracle of life to Debbie Glicken. Overcoming adversity throughout her entire life, Debbie chose the path of following the Lord.
Everything Debbie did throughout her life showed the
love she shared with so many. Debbie had a dream of one day being able to build
a shelter for unwanted children.
In 2002, Debbie would learn she had Breast Cancer. This would not stop her from
sharing the love she had from the Holy Spirit filling her heart.
Debbie was always helping others; even while Breast
Cancer was destroying her spine, Debbie continued doing the work she so loved
doing. During one of the worst snow storms of 2005, she made the trip to
downtown Cleveland to help feed the homeless Thanksgiving dinner.
Debbie always wanted to make sure others were taken
care of first. She was the perfect example of selflessness our Lord wants us to
exhibit. Debbie would have loved to give everyone two cans of pop instead of
just one.
